Red Hot Compilation :: Dark Was the Night
Red Hot is some sort of charity organization run but the guy from The National and it has a new compilation coming out some time in February.
I thought this was a pretty cool little widget they released trying to get people like me to put it up on my blog. It worked. The Iron and Wine song is pretty great. And so is the Decemberists song.

A good site if you have a couple minutes to kill.
You type in a name in the search field and the graph pops up showing when it was popular, how many of them there were and it’s rank in terms of popularity.
I don’t know what makes this interesting, but knowing that my name was the 12th most popular in the 80s is weirdly satisfying.
